SGL Gold Circle

Paper, pencil and coloured markers. The SGL Gold Circle is the diamond of Secret 7: it reflects Carl Gustav Jung’s mental compass, and everyone on your team is drawn into it as an arrow with a head, a tail and two arms.

The SGL Gold Circle — the decision colours set around Jung's mental compass, with each team player drawn into it as a black profile arrow
With pencil and crayons, the chemistry and energy of your team is interpreted.

Preparation

The mental compass

You need paper, pencil, and coloured markers to draw an arrow. You will use these to summarise your experiences from:

  • Secret 2,1 — The Flow Model, which describes the code (Challenger) F and (Skills) B.
  • Secret 4,2 — The Decision Colour, which shows you the mental code T/F or S/I.
  • Secret 6,3 and 7,1 — The Roles, which give you the code R (Warrior) and H (Helper).

The diamond

Your personal arrow

The arrow symbol — the dominant function at the arrowhead, the two supporting functions as arms to either side, and the shadow at the tail
The arrowhead is your dominant function; the tail is your shadow.

By using the colour system and the mental compass from Secret 4,2, we can draw our personal team profile as an arrow.

  • The SGL Gold / Colour circle reflects Carl Gustav Jung’s mental compass.
  • The black arrows mark the team players.
  • The overall picture tells about the team’s energy and chemistry.

The place for this secret’s intro film is reserved here. It fills in when the recording arrives.

With these elements in hand, you are ready to draw yourself — and everyone in your team — as a coloured arrow. Note: colours cannot switch between axes.

  • Your strongest function / colour forms the arrowhead on the vertical axis.
  • Your weakest side (the shadow) forms the tail on the same axis.
  • The arms on the horizontal axis show your auxiliary functions.
  • The right arm (two-eyed) is the stronger helper function.
  • The left arm (one-eyed) is the weaker one.

(F) axis for Challenges / (B) axis for Skills.

How is the energy and chemistry on your team? Create a test model and see the analysis in Secret 7,3 — Team Energy.

Home Lesson 7,2

Imagine each individual in your own workgroup, or team, or project.

  • You know that everyone is different.
  • Find their arrow-head and colour and strongest qualities — or, even easier, find their arrow-tail and shadow sides and weakest qualities.
  • Then you have the main axis, and can draw their Person-Arrow.
  • Then go on to Secret 7,3.
