Acceptance and self-development

SGL self-management, and what it means to be accepted. Three secrets on acceptance and self-development: the meeting between your own EGO and another’s THOU; the cyclical model that makes self-growth a circle rather than a line; and the traces left by the School of Life.

A kite climbs because something holds it. Growth works the same way — it needs a line to pull against.

The case

Can you accept that you are accepted?

“Winnerteam will promote a conversation strategy, who says: We accept you who you are!” SGL self-management starts here — not with a technique, but with the uncomfortable, ordinary fact of being seen and accepted exactly as you are.

Fog over a valley at first light is the outer image of growth that stands in the uncomfortable a little longer than is comfortable. Nothing about the valley below has changed by morning — only how long you were willing to stay inside the fog before the light reached it.

Secret 14: “Growth is standing in the uncomfortable, a little longer than its comfortable”. Find your three core values. Agree? Disagree?
