Reflecting Reality

A working group is not yet a team. Three secrets on the idea that binds people together — the personal chemistry that decides who you favour and who you avoid, the SGL Gold Circle that draws your team as coloured arrows, and the colour energy that decides what your team can do.

Four hands over a table, each holding a coloured jigsaw piece and bringing them together so the tabs meet in the middle.
A working group holds four pieces. A team is what happens when the edges are made to fit.

Result

In a working group, responsibilities, goals and products still belong to the individuals.

Dedicated to the craft, not yet to each other

Four hands over a table, each holding a coloured jigsaw piece and bringing them together so the tabs meet in the middle.
A team is what happens when the edges are made to fit.

The members of a working group, a body of 10–20 people, can be very dedicated to their particular skills or profession, but they still do not have the chemistry to see why they should become a team, in order to deliver collective performance on a higher level.

That chemistry is what the next three lessons are for. In the following, we will show you HOW to find it.
